DIY: Soothing Cocoa Mint Foot Salve

DIY Soothing Cocoa Mint Foot Salve- sore, achy feet? Cracked heels? This salve will provide some major TLC to your feet! Easy to make and it smells great! | The Refreshanista

If you have sore, achy feet or cracked heels- this DIY foot salve is for you!

I first made this recipe last Christmas. I decided to make all 12 of my fiancΓ©, Keegan’s, stocking stuffers myself. Note to self: this takes way more time than you’d think.

So I whipped up chai latte mix, cookie mix, shower bombs that turn your shower into an aromatherapy session, etc. And of course this foot salve!

I wanted to make something super moisturizing and healing for his feet. He is the Aquatic Director at a family centre so he spends a lot of time in the pool and walking around on the wet pool deck. His poor feet were extremely dry and cracked. So I made this ultra-moisturizing foot salve with rich, moisturizing cocoa butter and tingly peppermint oil to help heal his feet.

Turns out I tried the salve on my own feet {after he had a chance to use it of course!} and totally fell in love with it! First of all the scent is deeeelicious {don’t eat it though πŸ˜‰ } and it really softens my heels.

I worked in a retail store all summer which meant standing on my feet for hours at a time. My feet were often swollen and my heels were in rough shape. This salve really helps to soften and cool tired feet πŸ™‚
