DIY: Avocado Face Mask

DIY: Avocado Face Mask- this face mask is super easy to make and only 3 all-natural ingredients! Great for any skin type; it moisturizes and fights acne. | The Refreshanista

It’s been a while! I’ve been crazy busy with school and life in general. But I always come back to my blog because I really love it. Cooking, DIYing, writing- all things that keep me sane calm 😉

You know what’s great during stressful times? A little at-home spa day 🙂 I like to take just a little time out of my day to whip up a face mask or hair mask and just relax with a cup of tea for a bit.

I enjoy making my own “spa day” products. If you can eat all the ingredients you know it’s really natural! 😉 I actually find that my skin and hair prefer natural products, I think the chemicals irritate my sensitive skin and don’t cooperate well with my wild, curly hair.

This mask is really lovely- the avocado moisturizes and the honey and cinnamon help combat acne with their natural anti-bacterial properties. It smells really good too! I mean you could probably taste it if you want, it’s all natural ingredients, but I can’t promise that it would taste good 😉

Just 3 simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand. Perfect for when you buy a bunch of avocados and they all decide to ripen at the same time and you can’t use them fast enough! That always happens to me. It seems like they’re only ripe when I’m not ready! But I love them so much, I keep buying them.

This avocado face mask is very soothing and a little tingly. When you wash it off your face will feel soft and smooth 🙂
