It’s finally warming up around here and the snow is almost gone. I can’t wait for summer! I don’t leave my house much in the winter. It’s so cold and so much effort to bundle up my baby girl who constantly kicks off her winter boots. I’m dreaming of warm days when I can just put my kiddo in the stroller and walk to the park in the sunshine.

Roasted Vegetable Pizza from Scratch

Making pizza from scratch is easier than you think! The whole wheat dough takes 10 minutes to make and you can store it in the fridge until you're ready for pizza-making! The sauce, which is super quick to make, has delicious flavours of roasted tomatoes and roasted garlic. Then just assemble, bake, and eat! It's delicious.

If I had to name one guilty pleasure it would absolutely be pizza! There is something about fluffy crust topped with tomato sauce and melted cheese that just gets me hungry. Ordering from the pizza place down the street can be veryyyy tempting. They have 50% off Mondays and delivery takes 20 minutes. Downside: I always feel awful and icky after eating it. Solution: pizza from scratch in less than an hour! Making your own pizza is really easy, I promise! And the ingredients are wholesome and won’t make you feel icky after 🙂 Continue reading

Mmmm what’s better than a piping hot bowl soup on a cold day? I love soup with hearty vegetables in the winter time to warm me up and fill me up. This Curry Winter Vegetable Soup has butternut squash, carrots, onions, garlic, and deliciously warming curry spice. It’s got a lovely silky texture and I like to top mine with a dollop of creamy Greek yogurt and fresh, vibrant cilantro to contrast the warmth. It’s just amazing! I’ve made this winter vegetable soup several times, which is saying a lot because I’m always trying new recipes, it’s not often that a recipe gets repeated in my kitchen.
