Happy National Iced Tea Month! Did you know that was a thing? I don’tย alwaysย go along with food “holidays” but Iced Tea Month is something I can totally get on board with ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ve craved iced tea, iced green tea in particular, through my whole pregnancy. I got tired of the overly-sweet store-bought iced tea so I made my own! Unlike the kind you buy at the store, this one is naturally sweetened and has real fruit in it! Perfect for a hot summer day or a party ๐Ÿ™‚

First of all- check out that colour!

This iced green tea is flavoured with fresh blackberry puree, making it a beautiful shade of purple- and super delicious! Summer is the perfect time to enjoy fresh berries. You could probably try strawberry or raspberry puree too ๐Ÿ™‚ Garnish with fresh mint, it makes it even more refreshing and delicious! I like to keep a few mason jars of this iced tea in the fridge so I have a healthy, tasty beverage ready to go.

I can picture serving this at a picnic or summer party. The colour is so fun and it’s a delicious drink for all ages, although I’m sure it would be delicious with a shot of vodka or white rum ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. OH yum! I think blackberries and green tea are a delicious pair. I always love snacking on some during the summer with tea by my side. This recipe is perfect in combining the two! I love the idea of using blackberry puree for an iced tea creation.
